For the Tamil children living in the Ottawa region, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has arranged Tamil classes at the Green Bank Public School. For more information and application form refer this OCDSB link.

students of ages from 4 to 15 are eleigible to join the school. There are teachers appointed by the board at the rate of one teacher for every 20 students.

Tamil language and culture are taught in Tamil medium to the kids.

• Saturday classes are arranged during regular school year, from September to June, every Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon except the long week-end Saturdays.
• Summer classes are arranged in the months of July - August every year. The classes are from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon every day except week-ends.
